Da Capo's music summer school

It's hard to think 'summer' as we've just come out of New Years, but there are some events where it pays off to book early, before they are sold out. For parents in NW London one of them is DaCapo's Summer School, an event from The DaCapo Music foundation, a dynamic music education programme for kids and adults.

I just started to learn to play the guitar myself at DaCapo, to keep up with my daughters piano skills. No need to tell who is the more talented one, me or my 6 year old ;-)

The summer school is in two groups, for 2-5 year olds and 5-16 year olds, who will work with the Aurora orchestra and explore singing, percussion and movement.

Its a week-long programme from Monday 29th July to Friday 2nd August at Parliament Hill School, Highgate Road, NW5 from 10am to 3pm.

The theme this year will be The Sea - you can look forward to an interesting mix of both known and new music for both voice and all instruments.

Want to have a glimpse at last year's summer school? Here you go.

Da Capo is taking bookings now under

And please tell all your friends!
