All eyes on Scotch...

We have had this great Dutch brand for quite a few years now, Scotch Shrunk - born in Amsterdam. The brand started as a men's fashion brand Scotch & Soda already in the 80's, but reshaped and relaunched as we currently know it in 2002. The brand for the boys and little brothers was added in 2008 under the name Scotch Shrunk. Since then we have also seen the addition of the wonderful lines for women Maison Scotch and trendy girls Scotch R'belle.

The style of Scotch Shrunk is cool, different and always top quality. We love the way they combine the pieces, sometimes a little bit crazy :) but oh so stylish. They describe themselves as "classic in many ways, but young and fast-forward when it comes to bringing clothes to the market place". Each season they bring two lines of boys garments; the main Scotch Shrunk line and the Amsterdam Blauw line. The latter being the denim range with more classic pieces. The main Scotch Shrunk line always has a red line through the collection. This season it's called Playa Papaya and we see palm trees, coconuts, tropical flowers and sun bleached fabrics. All made to be worn on warm summer days in the city or on the beach! We long so much!!

The Summer 2014 Scotch Shrunk collection has already arrived in our shop (just a few pieces outstanding) and you can find them all here. We are currently not stocking new Scotch R'belle but are keeping a close eye on this amazing brand for the next season and we still have a few past season pieces at great prices here. Friendship book

What is a Friendship Book and why do my children have to have one?

If you would like your children to have the opportunity to preserve their childhood memories then Fay’s & Finlay’s Fabulous Friendship Book will certainly help to do exactly that.

This book is designed for children to record their personal details and answer fun questions about themselves. The book gets passed around to friends who then can be creative, practise their reading and writing skills and have fun while filling in their personal pages.

The book begins with ‘this book belongs to me’ page, which is dedicated to the owner. Once that is done the owner starts passing the book around his friend and the journey of creating memories begins.

The book has space for twenty children to write in, each filling in four pages.
